Description

CorTech is seeking to hire a General laborer for our client in Fremont, NE!
Benefits Available!
Weekly Pay!
$17.50/Hour

Description:

Shift: 8a-5p M-F initially. A candidate that seems likely to convert will spend some time on 8 hour ROTATING SHIFTS to ensure they are agreeable to those hours. These positions are in an industrial environment, candidates should have manual labor and/or industrial working experience, this is not a simple cleaning position.

Temporary workers will spend the majority of their time helping with cleaning spilled grain material. This will include sweeping, shoveling, and wheel barrowing spilled grain and finished product.

The position requires a self-motivated individual who can keep themselves busy cleaning when not given a specific area to work on. There may be days when you work alone and others when you will work as part of a group to clean an area.

Cleaning activities may be indoors or outdoors, and will include climbing fixed ladders to access equipment on rooftops. All activity will be performed within OSHA handrail.

Temporary workers may occasionally assist with the other operators of the plant as needed.

This is a temp to hire position. Any candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts that include nights, weekends, and holidays. Normal hours while on assignment are 8am-5pm Mon-Friday with a 1 hour off the clock lunch. Candidates that we select to transition to full time will spend some of their temp assignment on rotating shifts to make sure they are still interested after working those hours.

This is what 30 days looks like 7 days of midnight to 8am, 2 days off, 7 days of 4pm to midnight, 1.5 days off, 7 days of 8am - 4pm, 5 days off. That is a continual rotation all year long. One full weekend off a month which includes a Saturday and Sunday. What I do with temps is work 45 days of straight days so that they can accomplish all the training. if they hang in there that long, we then do 45 days of rotation, if they can make it on time with no attendance issues we propose full time employment.
