Shifts: Monday-Thursday 4:45PM-3:15AM Friday-Sunday 6AM-6PM $15/hour Shift differential: 2nd Shift - $1 Weekend Shift - $1.75 Additional incentives - $50 weekly bonus for perfect attendance JOB STATEMENT: Pack customers? orders in accordance with specifications on production reports. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: ? Package completed parts per procedure using the appropriate packaging materials (craft paper or foam) while minimizing waste. ? Verify dimensions needed for shipping crates using shipping reports. ? Set up, operate and adjust a variety of woodworking machines such as skill saws and radial arm saws to cut and shape wood sections according to specifications ? Fit, fasten and assemble wood parts to form crate using air powered nail-gun and metal strapping tools. ? Accurately label parts for shipping. ? Ensure all packaging is carefully placed and all box space is packed efficiently. ? Record all completed work on company approved/required documents. ? Assist other departments and employees as needed. ? Keep work area clean and neat ? Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual inventory. ? Other duties as assigned. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: ? Less than one-year previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience. ? Basic reading, writing and math skills required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: ? Must regularly lift up to 50 pounds. ?
