IT PROJECT MANAGER San Juan, Puerto Rico 3-month contract (possible extension) Web Platform Development and Improvements Salary based on experience The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating IT projects for an upcoming company that offers a platform that allows you to quickly form and manage multiple business entities, store crucial documents, and request legal or accounting services all from one, easy-to-use online portal. In order to do this successfully, this person should feel comfortable handling multiple tasks at a time. Responsibilities: Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Manage and coordinate project teams and stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of projects Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks and issues, and communicate status to stakeholders Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to ensure alignment and successful project delivery Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and risk and issue logs Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous improvement Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering IT projects Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Waterfall Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and partners Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues Knowledge of software development and IT infrastructure, with the ability to work with technical teams PMP or other project management certification is a plus If you are a self-motivated, results-oriented IT Project Manager with a passion for delivering successful IT projects, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. | |
