Work Authorization: US Citizen/ Green Card Pay: $20.81/hr Location: Batavia, IL Job Title: Warehouse Worker - Inbound Loader Position Summary: The Warehouse Worker - Outbound Loading is responsible for safely and efficiently loading outbound shipments of windows and doors for residential and commercial use. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. ------------------------------------------------ Key Responsibilities: ? Retrieve orders from the system and print pick tickets. ? Select the products listed on the pick tickets by matching them with the corresponding products in the warehouse. ? Use pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks to move products to the loading dock. ? Load products onto trucks in a safe and efficient manner, using proper lifting techniques and equipment as needed. ? Secure products to pallets or skids to prevent damage during transit. ? Complete all necessary documentation, such as bills of lading and shipping labels, accurately and legibly. ? Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the warehouse and loading dock. ? Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). ? Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and customers. ------------------------------------------------ Qualifications: ? High school diploma or equivalent. ? Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred. ? Ability to operate pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks. ? Ability to read and interpret shipping labels and other documentation. ? Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. ? Good communication and teamwork skills. ? Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. ? Must be able to stand for long periods of time. ? Must wear steel-toed boots. ? Must be able to work as part of a 4-man team for safety reasons. ? Must be able to report safety hazards, damaged units, and broken glass to the OF Coordinator. ? Must be able to handle products with care to prevent damage and ensure safety. ------------------------------------------------ Working Conditions: ? The position involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying heavy objects. ? Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to heat, cold, and noise. ? May be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. | |
