CorTech is seeking to hire a Assembly & Test Technician for our client in Pittsburgh, PA!

$35.24/Hour
Schedule: M-F 8 hour day shift typically 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, etc. OT is rare. Hybrid schedule - typically in-office 1 day/week.

ITAR form is required for this role. They will have access to export control systems.

Level III: 5-7 years. Under direct supervision, responsible for classifying Client goods, software, equipment, and technology based on the U.S. export control regulations. Require basic chemistry knowledge to interpret complex, technical export control regulations as they relate to Client products and technologies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field (e.g., chemical engineering, biochemistry, biology).

Export Classification Contractor (i.e., Chemist III)

Job Function ? Requirements:
This position requires interpretation of complex, technical export control regulations and understanding of Client products, technology and uses to assign the proper Export Control Classification Numbers to the items Client exports globally.

This position is responsible for:
? Classifying Client goods, software, equipment, and technology based on the U.S. export control regulations.
? Supporting the maintenance and proper performance of the various Client export classification tools (e.g., the export jurisdiction and classification system and the export classification automated review tool).
? Assisting with the classification process of newly acquired companies.
? Maintaining electronic or hard copy documentation for classifications in a timely fashion.
? Conducting periodic reviews of the classifications stored in the export jurisdiction and classification system.

Requires:
? Bachelor?s degree in the sciences, preferably chemistry or chemical engineering.
? Strong technical skills and demonstrated computer proficiencies are required (e.g., Excel, Access, database management).
? Strong written and oral communication skills are imperative.
? Ability to learn quickly, excellent problem solving, decisiveness, critical thinking, and people management skills in a fast paced, dynamic work environment are necessary. Knowledge of export compliance is a plus.
? Since this position requires use of, or access to, information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
