CorTech is seeking to hire a Materials Management Coordinator for our client in Greenwich, CT! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $26.50/Hour 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday Occasional overtime may be required POSITION SUMMARY: Involves purchasing and coordination of maintenance supplies, managing and negotiating vendor pricing, maintenance of parts inventory system, working as part of the engineering team to develop safety and quality related programs, maintenance and accountability of Somax and Oracle programs, in addition to providing support to the facility with various regulatory compliance record keeping and documentation. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Excellent computer skills and knowledge of industrial parts and machinery is IMPERATIVE. Must be able to conduct physical cycle counts and follow up on justification of adjustments. Must be able to properly ?kit? parts for work orders and provide status reports. Must be able to train others in proper methodology to manage parts, including but not limited to how to create parts requisitions, how to checkout and return parts to inventory, etc. Special projects as needed. Other duties as assigned. KEY BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES: Excellent computer skills and knowledge of industrial parts and machinery in IMPERATIVE. Experience with parts inventory management is highly preferred. Basic knowledge of the parts required for electrical and mechanical systems is critical. Able to communicate effectively ? both written and orally. Computer literate, in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and graphics. The position requires organizational skills in addition to the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. | |
