D Shift 7am-7pm Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday. NHO and must be willing to train on A shift for 3 weeks, 7am-3pm/

Job Description:
? Entry level Manufacturing Operator responsible for manufacturing biopharmaceutical filtration devices with a focus on maximizing safety, quality, and productivity.
Duties Include:
? Manufacture quality products safely and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Quality and Safety Specifications and GMP standards.
? Safely operate a manufacturing process and monitor required inputs and outputs.
? Support proper line opening and line closing through material control and proper machine set up.
? Accurately complete documentation per GMP standards.
? Ensure a clean and orderly workspace.
? Proactive identification of safety, quality, and productivity concerns. Actively report hazardous conditions or hazardous behaviors observed in the work center and the site.
? Participate in sustainability efforts.
? Works under moderate supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
? 0-1 year of work experience.
? High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience in a fast-paced production type team environment (i.e., manufacturing, food service, etc.)
? Basic knowledge of EHS, ISO, cGMP, and other manufacturing regulatory requirements.
? Basic computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
? Reliable and self-motivated.
? Ability to read, follow and understand operating procedures and documentation.
Physical requirements
? Exposure to high production output machinery and equipment in a production/plant environment.
? 100% Standing and/or sitting for duration of shift, up to 12 hours.
? Frequent lifting of 20 - 30 lbs. necessary/Max lifting ? 40 to 50 lbs.
? Ability to bend and twist as needed.
? Must be able to grasp, manipulate and handle objects consistently and regularly, Fine motor skills are required.
? Must pass visual acuity testing in order to perform activities such as: preparing, entering, and analyzing data on paper and on a computer monitor; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices.
? Ability to work in a clean room environment.

Performs a variety of equipment operating and adjusting duties such as assembling, mixing, cleaning, welding, bonding, inspecting, testing, labeling, packaging, etc. to fabricate and process products to meet high quality specifications following prescribed procedures. Working from verbal and written instructions may use a variety of equipment including welders, hot air guns, scales, bonders, fillers, simple test equipment and other related supplies. May use measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerances disassembles precision assemblies and corrects malfunctions. Makes accept/reject decisions, taking corrective action where possible.
1. Capable of efficiently operating multiple operations according to SOP and within specifications. Record all production data accurately, neatly and in accordance cGMP.
2. Continually assesses the quality of product being manufactured and act as a role model for new employees with regard to product quality. Notify Supervisor or Lead person if quality is in question and suggest appropriate course of action.
3. Make the most efficient use of work time by arriving to work on time, limiting break time to allotted time intervals and not distracting other operators during the work day.
4. Make improvements in personal efficiency to maximize what is accomplished each day and be able to meet difficult production goals in a consistent manner.
5. Works well with other operators and a team player.
6. Maintain a safe work environment by keeping work area neat and organized.
7. Understands all critical business metrics such as execution to master plan, scrap reduction and material accuracy, etc. Make recommendations to supervisor to improve department regarding production metrics and overall manufacturing activities.
8. Anticipates, recognizes and controls safety hazards and environmental impacts associated with job function (e.g. identifies risk reduction and waste elimination opportunities, reports all incidents and near misses, completes all EHS related training, wears proper Personal Protective Equipment).
