Position: Software Architect Work Authorization: US Citizen/ Green Card Pay: $71- $80/hr (Pay is based on experience) Location: Jacksonville, FL (Remote) __________________________________________________________ Job Summary: We are seeking a Software Architect with a strong focus on React and Redux. As an IT Application Architect, you will be responsible for developing, programming, and coding complex, business-critical IT solutions. Your role will involve providing leadership and guidance on large-scale projects, serving as an adviser on best practices, and driving IT strategy by implementing principles, models, designs, standards, and guidelines. You will also document detailed system specifications, participate in unit testing, maintain internally developed applications, evaluate and performance test purchased products, and ensure IT controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and data. Responsibilities: ? Demonstrate technical leadership and proficiency in multiple programming languages ? Use versioning, debugging, and standard desktop applications, including MS Suite and Visio ? Continuously learn and adopt new technologies aligned with IT strategies ? Follow best practices in unit testing, release procedures, coding, design, documentation, and change management ? Apply project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, iterative, agile) ? Implement Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) software engineering practices ? Define extensible architectures and communicate them to project teams ? Adapt to a rapidly changing environment and think critically to evaluate alternatives and present solutions Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or relevant work experience ? 3?5 years of experience in IT development, programming, coding, and architecture within an Automation environment ? Proficiency in Scala, Spark, Hadoop, SQL, and PostgreSQL environments ? Experience with data and database performance optimization ? (Preferred) Experience with API integrations with different systems ? Relevant development certifications and advanced knowledge of emerging technology solutions and trends | |
