CorTech is seeking to hire a External Financial Reporting Manager for our client in Chicago, IL! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $43.21/Hour Shift: 1st Description: 100% Remote is OK Job Description: ? Rolling forward the 10-Q and incorporating any prior quarter edits into the document ? Assisting in preparing and reviewing month end and quarter end close journal entries and activities for assigned accounting areas, including, stock based compensation, pension accounting, derivative accounting and calculation of sharecount ? Ensuring compliance with the company?s SOX controls and assisting with providing documentation for the testing of controls related to their areas ? Assisting as needed to support the external auditor?s review of the company?s SEC filings ? Coordinating various schedules that are sent across the company for input and reviewing these numbers for accuracy and consistency ? Preparing the footnote tie outs based on the schedules above and addressing any comments from Senior Manager Skills Needed: Experience with SEC filings, specifically Form 10-Q filings. They would need to be good in excel and have working knowledge of our SEC Filing platform, Workiva. Someone who has had experience in the accounting areas they will be taking on i.e. stock compensation, pensions, derivatives and sharecount. | |
