CorTech is seeking to hire a Manufacturing Operator 1 for our client in Lenexa, KS! Pay rate: 18.10 Description: **NIGHT SHIFT ONLY** Orientation (days): $20.17/hr Nights: starting at $22.19/hr, after 60 days increase to $22.74/hr Once coverted to Perm, the pay rate is an additional $0.50 Schedule Information: - MilliporeSigma manufacturing runs 24/7 - Shifts are on a two-week shift pattern (weekend work is scheduled, every other weekend). - All new employees will be given their shift pattern for the remainder of the year on Day 1. - New temporary employees are required to attend two days of new hire training. Day 1: Tuesday DAY shift, 8 am - 4 pm Day 2: Wednesday DAY shift, 8 am - 4 pm Day 3: Deploy to Team shift pattern either Thursday 7 pm - 7:30 am or Friday 7 pm - 7:30 am (if Friday, work the weekend) This is a career opportunity! Engaged workers can be converted in 3 - 6 months to full-time employees, depending on business needs and performance. Orientation, on-the-job training and PPE will be provided once onsite. Processing ? loading chemicals into large stainless-steel blenders, using an equipment operation interface to preblend/mill/postblend, monitoring automated processes, troubleshooting ? Packaging ? prepping materials, packing out powder into containers (barrels, buckets, bottles etc.), palletizing filled containers ? Cleaning ? breaking down/setting up equipment, hooking up hoses/piping using gaskets/clamps, spraying down rooms, loading equipment into parts-wash, operating and monitoring automated cleaning ? Computer Use ? must have basic computer skills ? Documentation ? the ability to read and write legibly/clearly/accurately in logbooks in English. ? The process is standard, but each batch of powdered product is unique, and the length of manufacturing time will vary. Therefore, no two days are the same! ? All job activities are performed indoors under temperature-controlled conditions Candidate Profile: ? Manufacturing, Warehouse, or Quality experience preferred ? Computer skills ?
