CorTech is seeking to hire a QC Microbiologist for our client in Exton, PA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $35.00/Hour 1st shift hours, Mandatory hours 9-3 with flexibility before or after those times totaling 8 hours a day. Description: Purpose: To support the following, for products manufactured at Client Biomedical: the maintenance of sterilization activities, the execution of site environmental/contamination control policies and procedures, and the testing/troubleshooting in the quality microbiology laboratory. Areas of Responsibility: ? Support the sterilization maintenance activities performed on Client Biomedical products, including assisting with the compiliation of routine dose audit reports and annual EO assessments. ? Interface with internal and external laboratories to ensure appropriate sterility/microbiological data are obtained for sterility assurance. ? Interface with sterilization suppliers to obtain/file documentation, as needed. ? Assist in the documentation of new processes and/or changes to existing processes (e.g., ECR, ECOs, SOP review). ? Assist in the documentation of nonconformance's from both internal and external sources. ? Support the Environmental Monitoring Program and Controlled Environment Area qualification activities, including but not limited to sample collection, data analyses and trending. ? Assist in the literature reviews and compilation of annual zoonosis reports for Client Biomedical animal derived products (bovine and porcine). ? Support microbiology laboratory testing/troubleshooting with regard to sterility assurance (i.e., endotoxin testing support). ? Assist in the compilation of other sterility/microbiology reports as needed (e.g., ISO Gap Assessments, Customer-required reviews, Annual Bioburden trending). ? Assist in the support of client requests, as needed. ? Education: A minimum of an associates degree is required. ? Experience: This person should have 1-3 years? experience in medical device industry with microbiology background/experience. ? Top technical must haves: Technical writing skills, aspetic lab techniques, LAL testing experience, environmental monitoring experience. GDP lab techniques. Utilization of controlled documentation systems, LIMS and SAP are a plus. | |
