Position: JavaScript Developer Work Authorization: US Citizen/ Green Card Pay: $50- $55/hr (Pay is based on experience) Location: Jacksonville, FL (Remote) ___________________________________________________________ Job Summary: Cor Tech International is seeking an experienced React/Node.js Developer to join our team in building innovative Information Technology solutions using ReactJS, Redux, D3, and Node.js for health care applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle, including gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages, creating application system models, and participating in design meetings. They will also be responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, conducting performance testing, and managing both planned and unplanned maintenance tasks. ? Develop Information Technology solutions using ReactJS, Redux, D3, and Node.js for Florida Blue Customer Experience applications. ? Manage tasks independently. ? Exempt Computer Professional (FLSA classification) ? Requires work authorization status of USC or GC Holder ___________________________________________________________ Job Duties: ? Develop, program, and code IT solutions using ReactJS, Redux, D3, and NodeJS ? Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle ? Gather and analyze user/business system requirements ? Respond to outages and create application system models ? Document detailed system specifications ? Evaluate, conduct performance testing, and manage maintenance tasks for internally developed applications and purchased products ? Participate in design meetings and consult with clients to refine, test, and debug programs to meet business needs ? Interact and sometimes direct third-party partners in the achievement of business and technology initiatives ? Implement IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the application and data processed or output by the application ___________________________________________________________ Must-Have Skills: ? 3?5 years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience ? Proficiency in programming in more than one object-oriented programming language: React.Js, Node.js, JavaScript, and HTML ? Proficiency with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, local storage, and cross-browser compatibility ? Experience with modern web/UI development tools and techniques: Node, Webpack, Grunt/Gulp, GIT, Axios, Jest ? Solid knowledge of DOM manipulation and client-side validation ? Solid knowledge with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries ? High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy ? In-depth understanding of the systems' development life cycle ___________________________________________________________ Additional Skills: ? Proficiency using MERN and MEAN Scaffolding tools ? Client-side templating: mustache.js, handlebars.js, panni.js, and dust.js ? Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flow-charting tools such as Visio ? Proficiency using debugging tools such as Advanced Debugger, Allinea DDT, AQtime, ARM, CA/EZTEST, etc ? Experience with responsive grid systems ? Solid knowledge of React and Redux principles and build-out Preferred Qualifications: ? Domain experience in Healthcare, Financial, etc. ? Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology ? Experience with mobile design (native and mobile web) ? Experience with Foundation and web accessibility guidelines and requirements Education/Experience: ? High school diploma or GED required ? 3?5 years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience Candidate Requirements: ? Must be a strong back-end developer with experience in APIs using Node.js ? Able to hit the ground running and work independently ? Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills ? Flexible team player with the ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities ?
