CorTech is seeking to hire a Plant Cost Analyst for our client in Portland, OR ! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $35.09/Hour 1st Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Qualifications: o Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, o Minimum 2 years of progressive cost accounting and analysis experience with a major manufacturing organization. A strong emphasis should be put on knowledge of management accounting, cost and inventory accounting, and GAAP o Strong analytical skills are required to quickly grasp issues impacting the plant?s financial results o Strong IT aptitude to deliver effective desktop reporting (paperless web-enabled environment), utilize business warehouse tools and MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations o Excellent communication and presentation skills are required o Ability to manage projects, work independently, and communicate effectively to all areas and levels of the location o Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across plant and functional organizations. o Demonstrated client service orientation Responsibilities: Responsible for: ? Assist in the timely completion of the month-end financial close assignments ? Demonstrate awareness of all elements of a plant?s financial statements ? Assist in preparing post-closing plant financial analysis, performance reports and meaningful commentary ? Partner with Plant Controller to prepare and coordinate the annual budget at the plant level. ? Partner with Plant Controller to prepare, maintain and analyze product standard costs ? Support the analytical needs of the Plant Controller and other financial management ? Prepare analysis to understand the financial ramifications of current and proposed business actions ? Ensure compliance with SGC and EPG policies and procedures ? Oversee and reconcile inventory cycle counts ? Track cost reduction projects and maintain required reporting ? Ad hoc analysis | |
