Description: Supervisor: Marcus Quinones Position: MRO Buyer Rate: $ 18.50 Job Description: Temporary MRO Buyer Job Description: Responsible for purchasing MRO items based on Production and QC Lab needs. Supports area owners to maintain adequate inventory levels. Maintains communication with suppliers to assure on time delivery of purchases. Follows QSR, ISO, safety, and environmental regulations. Responsibilities: ? Conducts MRO purchases and contracts based on production and QC requirements. ? Prepares purchase order and/or requisitions to procure MRO parts. ? Assures materials are dispatched upon delivery to respective areas. ? Maintains records of purchases made and cost avoidance/savings. ? Works toward the resolution of any accounts payable or invoicing issue. ? Supports areas requesting MRO purchases to maintain adequate inventory levels. ? Works with suppliers to assure on time and in full delivery. ? Performs other related duties as assigned. Education: ? Preferably BS in Business, Engineering or Science. ? Computer knowledge on Excel, word, SAP and Power Point. ? Able to read, write, and speak English and Spanish. ? Good mathematical skills. Experience: ?
