Work Authorization: US Citizen/ Green Card Pay: $16 - $21/hr (Pay is based on experience) Location: Clearwater, FL __________________________________________________________________________ Job Summary: Cor-Tech is seeking a talented Medical Assistant for our healthcare clients' patients and providers Assistant is responsible for providing responsive customer service as the communicator between the patients and the provider. This role offers clinical and clerical support to Physicians and Mid-Level Providers and assists with exams and in-office procedures. __________________________________________________________________________ Job Duties: ? Administer medications while demonstrating proficiency in the ?5 Rights?. ? Prepare the patient for the exam. ? Assist providers with in-office procedures. ? Triage patient phone calls and obtain accurate information and documentation. ? Obtain accurate vital signs from patients. ? Practice aseptic and sterile techniques and ensure instruments are disinfected and sterilized. __________________________________________________________________________ Key Skills: ? Possess knowledge of medication classifications, side effects, and proper dosage. ? Ability to work at any location. ? Demonstrated computer skills. ? Previous experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Record). _________________________________________________________________________ Additional Skills: ? Knowledge of medical terminology. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. ? Strong attention to detail. ? Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. ? Maintain and practice knowledge of OSHA regulations and principles of infection control. __________________________________________________________________________ Education & Job Requirements: ? Completion of an accredited MA program. ? High school diploma or GED. ? 0?2 years of professional experience. ? Medical Assistant Certification. ? Requires a skin TB test before hiring. | |
