Job Title: Forklift Driver Pay: $18/hr (additional $1.50 for OT on top of time and a half pay and an extra $1 for perfect attendance for the week) Location: Wentzville, MO Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled forklift driver to join our team at our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for all phases of facility storage and shipping operations in a safe and efficient manner, and for properly completing necessary paperwork and scanning functions. They will be responsible for ensuring that they follow all work instructions, safety, and quality procedures required to complete their job. The Forklift Driver will work with conversion to ensure the production of quality product to meet or exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities ? Remove finished goods from production lines and place in either warehouse location or on shuttle trucks, and/or move raw materials to production lines. ? Adhere to all work instructions, safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices. ? Load and/or unload trailers. ? Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse. ? Ensure the accuracy of all transactions and product scanning. ? Document all shipments, both inbound and outbound. ? Verify that the quality of the product sent on outbound loads meets or exceeds customer expectations. ? Maintain ISO standards. ? Participate in weekly inventories. ? Report food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action. Requirements: ? High school diploma or equivalent. ? Forklift experience and certification required. ? RF scanning experience required. ? Familiarity with SAP systems preferred. ? Must have a valid driver's license. ? Must have flexibility of job assignment. ? Self-motivated and team oriented. ? Must possess strong verbal and communication skills. ? Must be able to operate a forklift. ? Must be able to read shipping and receiving documents. ? Must complete warehouse competency checklist. ? Strong computer skills. ? Willingness to work 5AM ? 4:00PM and overtime on some Fridays and Saturdays. | |
