CorTech is seeking to hire a Lab Technician II for our client in Athens, GA! Pay rate: 18.62 Duties: Support the Laboratory Operations Manager to ensure operational excellence in the laboratories consistent with local standard operating procedures. Ensure high standards of operational support of laboratory activities across the Athens R&D site in line with best practices and governance. Support that R&D laboratories function efficiently and in full compliance with local and corporate regulations. Skills: Accountabilities: Provide laboratory support activities including management/restocking of all laboratory supplies/consumables, consumable inventory stockrooms and housekeeping. Manage environmental water sampling and compliance as regulated by local site operating procedures. Manage waste flow processes and sterilization activities. Perform regular monthly safety inspections of all laboratories and safety stations within the R&D department facility. Ensure excellence in chemical management. Support management of cold storage and equipment inventory. Education: Must have a degree in a biotechology related field, Bachelors with 3 years experience, or Masters with 1 year experience in a lab setting related to biotechnology. | |
