Position: Sr. PEGA Developer
Work Authorization: US Citizen/ Green Card or visa sponsorship or C2C
Pay: $71 plus/hr (Pay is based on experience)

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. PEGA Developer for our healthcare client in Jacksonville, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions using the PEGA platform. As a Sr. PEGA Developer, you will engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, gather, and analyze user/business system requirements, and document detailed system specifications. You will participate in design meetings, evaluate, and conduct performance testing, and all planned and unplanned maintenance for both internally developed applications and purchased products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PEGA 8.x versions, a good understanding of UX/UI, and excellent logical and analytical skills to quickly debug and resolve production issues.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
? Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or relevant work experience
? 5-8+ years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience
? 5-8+ years of experience as PRPC application developer
? 5-8+ years of architecture and design experience
? 5-8+ years of programming experience in Pega/Pega systems (version 8.x)
? Pega Certified ? CSSA (Required), CLSA (Preferred)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? ? Develop, program, and code Information Technology solutions through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
? ? Gather and analyze user/business system requirements, respond to outages and create application system models.
? ? Document detailed system specifications, evaluate and conduct performance testing, and participate in planned and unplanned maintenance for both internally developed applications and purchased products.
? ? Participate in design meetings and consult with clients to refine, test, and debug programs to meet business needs and interact and sometimes direct third party partners in the achievement of business and technology initiatives.
? ? Responsible for system development and support of solutions to business problems.
? ? Responsible for Case Management, Business Services, JDE, and Master Data Management.
? ? Participate in design sessions towards the successful implementation of more complex requirements; define the class structure of data and work objects.
? ? Perform appropriate tasks required to initiate a project based on the version of PRPC being used (the Application Profiler/ Accelerator or Stage Configuration).
? ? Develop according to standards and best practices.
? ? Ensure IT Controls are in place to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.

REQUIREMENTS:
? ? Pega Certified ? CSSA (Required) , CLSA (Preferred)
? ? 8+ years of total experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions using Pega PRPC.
? ? Hands-on experience on PEGA 8.x versions.
? ? Experience in handling the Production support work.
? ? Good Analytics and Logical skills to quickly debug and resolve production issues.
? ? Expert in implementing integrations such as REST, SOAP, File Listener, MQ, and Error handling.
? ? Experience on creating technical rules such as Data Pages, Activities, Data transforms, Flows, Case Types, Decision rules, etc. following the branching strategy.
? ? Adhere to the best practices including but not limited to Pega and team-specific Guardrails.
? ? Review alert logs to ensure quality standards. Run pre-flight and PAL to ensure performance and quality.
? ? Good understanding of UX/UI and experience on working with Portals, Skins, Flow Action, Sections, and all the UI components.
? ? Hands-on Background Jobs Implementation and configuration.
? ? Experience in Admin Studio and SMA configurations and must be able to improve the performance of application.
? ? Experience in Oracle and SQL Database operations.
? ? Good understanding of Pega container management.
? ? Integration with external Kafka required.
? ? Strong Linux Administration experience required.
? ? Experience with application/platform performance monitoring tools such as PAL, PMI, AES, and Windows Performance Monitor.
? ? Strong working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CICD) using Jenkins and other open-source tool.
? ? Web application experience in WebSphere Liberty App Server (WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat experience preferred).
? ? Hands-on experience using Pega Constellation architecture Theme Cosmos on the traditional UI architecture.
? ? Exposure to DX API.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
? Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etc
? Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology
? Specific tools, languages and specialty skills may vary
