CorTech is seeking to hire a LPN/LVN Endoscopy for our client in Springfield, MO! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $41.37/Hour Start Time 7:00 AM End Time 7:00 PM Shift: Days, 4x10, 0700-1900 Guaranteed Hours: 36 Required Licensure: Current LPN/LVN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.) Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only Preferred Certifications: ACLS from AHA only Required Experience: 1 year Endoscopy Must be willing to float when needed MUST BE FULLY COVID AND FLU VACCINATED TO BE SUBMITTED - NO EXCEPTIONS General Comments Ensures high standard of nursing care to patients attending the Endoscopy unit, working within Client policies and procedures. Provides technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures. Starts IVs as needed, under the supervision of the RN. Sets, monitors, and maintains excellent standards of nursing care. Maintains timely and accurate nursing records and ensures confidentiality of patient information. Participates in care and maintenance of endoscopes and other specialized equipment, always ensures standard of decontamination, including accurate records of traceability of all endoscopes and associated equipment. Assists with patient transport as needed. Ensures the safe discharge of patients from the Endoscopy unit. Maintains a safe and clean environment within the clinical area in accordance with established standards and regulations. Performs direct patient care activities within the scope of practical nursing preparation under the direct supervision of an RN. The LPNs practice must be consistent with the established guidelines of practice, the goals of Client Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Client , the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, the code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Client Service Standards. Performs other work duties as assigned. | |
