CorTech is looking for a Project Manager for our client in El Segundo, California 90245! Benefits and weekly pay available! $53.00-58.00/hr Overview: Drive execution and independently manage all team projects ranging from small to large initiatives for Mattel Television Studio Operations group. Ensure all projects are delivered against group objectives, adhere to standard processes and policies, and are delivered on time and on budget. The project manager will keep stakeholders apprised of project status, manage meetings and presentations, prepare dashboards and reports of how project budget, schedule, deliverables, and scope are tracking from planned to execution. This role will also be expected to manage many simultaneous project schedules and budgets of varying size and complexity and should be able to work in an environment where wearing many hats is expected. The ideal candidate should have a proven record of successfully analyzing all aspects of a project, defining deliverables, and consistently delivering with minimal guidance. Identify opportunities for improvement and lead implementation of changes. Communicate project implementation options that affect cost, schedule and risk to stakeholders and other recommendations based on these elements. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: ? Project manage assigned projects autonomously and follow through on all aspects of the project from start to finish. ? Create project charters and business cases and manage cross functional teams to deliver comprehensive project plans. ? Lead discovery (scoping phase) and document requirements gathered. ? Work with project team to identify and assess proper tools, software and processes needed to meet stakeholder goals and needs. ? Create budgets for projects and submit them for approval. ? Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize workload and identify resources needed to complete assignments. ? Develop and communicate timelines, daily milestones, next steps, and status to project team to ensure on time delivery of all milestones; Revise timelines as needed to meet changing needs and requirements. ? Manage scope and identify, assess, communicate, and mitigate risks and issues to avoid budget overages, scope creep and schedule delays. ? Monitor and track budget throughout project life cycle and communicate budget status to team. ? Provide clear and consistent communication of project status both internally and with stakeholders; Maintain status reports and lead status meetings for projects. ? Develop and maintain standard project documentation - project plans, agendas, action items list, deliverables and ensure adherence to company best practices. ? Evaluate vendor, company, and IT decisions to ensure they are in the best interest of stakeholder and team goals; escalate as needed. ? Produce executive level presentations for project stakeholders as needed. ? Measure results and monitor key performance indicators to ensure project objectives are met throughout the project. ? Establish and sustain strong on-going relationships with IT, business partners, vendors, and stakeholders. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: ? Excellent computer skills: Adobe Workfront, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ? Ability to navigate within a complex corporate structure. ? Excellent organizational and time management skills. ? Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. ? Excellent written and oral communication skills. ? Strong attention to detail. ? Ability to design and follow department workflow guidelines and policies. ? Demonstrated negotiation skills. ? Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. ? Agility to shift priorities. EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS REQUIRED: ? Minimum 5-7 years of combined Project Management & Account/Client Management experience. ? Experience working across cross-functional groups. ? Project estimating and scheduling. ? Leadership qualities, including meeting facilitation, time management, organizational skills, and ability to influence others. ? Proficiency in Adobe Workfront and/or Microsoft Project and other project & portfolio management applications. ? Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, including ability to tailor communication to audience to achieve desired results. ? Ability to accommodate a high level of change and adapt accordingly. ? Experience with analyzing complex issues and delivering appropriate solutions. ? Broad IT project management experience a plus within SDLC and Agile processes and methodologies such as PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge. | |
