CorTech is seeking to hire TWO Meat/Poultry Packers for our client in Portland! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $15.02/Hour Shift: Day shift. 7 AM until finish. Monday through Friday. This is a position that is responsible for processing orders through packaging equipment according to specifications notated on order tickets and within designated demand times. This position is responsible to quickly perform quality assurance checks for product and weight. Basic requirements include basic mathematical skills, computer skills, product knowledge. Palletizing: Employee may remove boxes of ground chuck patties weighing between 12 and 40 pounds from conveyor line and stack on pallets beginning at ground level and rising as high as 5 feet. As instructed by lead person, employee may be required to close plastic liners and fold down box flaps prior to pushing through box taper machine. May be required to sticker packages with code dates before folding box flaps for taping. On average one every 9 seconds (400 per hour). | |
