CorTech is seeking to hire a QC Technician Lab Support for our client in Laramie, WY! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $22.00/Hour Hours: flexible 8 hours between 6am-6pm) Scope of Responsibility: ? Operational Management of Lab area: ? Support the lab by organizing and cleaning the lab area ? Cleaning glassware ? Ordering and receiving standards and chemicals ? Support day to day operations of QC and R&D Scientists Essential Job Functions: ? Organize and clean the lab including glassware ? Ordering and receiving chemicals ? Support Quality Control and R&D team on their day-to-day activities ? Able to read and understand safety information listed on all chemicals ? Wear appropriate PPE BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required Experience: 1+ years relevant experience in laboratory Knowledge and Skills: ? Basic understanding of the relevant subject matter field (e.g. organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, process chemistry) ? Ability to collaborate and communicate well with peers. Environmental conditions: Laboratory Environment: Comfortable working in chemical manufacturing facility and handling various chemicals including organic, inorganic, volatiles, acids, and bases. Comfortable working with biological matrices e.g. serum, urine etc. Requires routine use of PPE including but not limited to: gloves, scrubs, lab coat, face shield, respirator. Routine use of engineering controls including fume hoods and glove boxes Physical Requirements: Hearing, vision within normal limits. May sit at PC for periods of time. May stand working at a bench for long periods of time. | |
