**Pay Rate:$19.34** ASSEMBLER 1ST Shift: MONDAY-FRIDAY 6AM-2:30PM with mandatory OT that can extend the M-F work hours up to 10 hours and also requires every other Saturday as needed to meet production needs. JOB SUMMARY: Will perform a variety of jobs fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products. These products can be mechanical, electrical or a combination of both. This individual will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to the Advanced Assembler #1 classification. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: -Read and understand blue prints and routings to produce parts from them to the required specifications. -Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced. -Perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality. -Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean. -Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding. -Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety. QUALIFICATIONS: -Possess the skill and ability to assemble manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products. -Must be equipped with all the required tools to perform the functions of their job. -Able to operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses and power tools. -Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, sitting and bending, as well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently. -Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports. Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts. -Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly. **INCENTIVE BONUS** New Hire Incentive Bonus: $1000 in 3 payments ($200 @ 3 mo.?s - $400 @ 6 mo.?s - $400 @ 12 mo.?s) *can?t have any disciplines in that quarter Granted the Employee has no writeup in the quarter they would get the following payments: $200 after 3 months $400 after 6 months $400 after 12 months | |
