CorTech is seeking to hire a General Utility for our client in Bluffton, IN! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $15.00/Hour This is an hourly position, primarily 6am to 2pm, M-F. Depending on business demands, there may be a need to work an alternative shift or an occasional weekend. COMPANY ? Client Animal Nutrition is a livestock feed manufacturer. We manufacture feed for most species, with an emphasis on swine, poultry, equine, and bovine. POTENTIAL TASKS ? Housekeeping duties and cleaning of equipment and buildings, Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel and supervisors as needed, Assist with product handling as instructed, Possible movement and operation of forklift, skid-steer and semi tractors, Other responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS -- To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria: Commitment to Client goal of achieving a zero injury culture and understand/follow company safety procedures, Exhibit consistent, prompt attendance, Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted, shovel material and operate a vacuum, Possess a valid driver?s license and have access to reliable transportation, Have experience driving a forklift (preferred but not required), Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times, and Demonstrate initiative to work independently on given assignments while remaining flexible enough to work within team setting. EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT ? Candidate will provide their own steel-toed safety boots. All other PPE will be provided by the plant. | |
