**Pay Rate:$38-45** Position Overview: The Business Process Engineer will focus on simplifying the PLM to ERP business process for HUS/Aclara transitioning the existing Autodesk Fusion to JD Edwards Engineering interface over to Autodesk Fusion to SAP S4/HANA ERP. The successful applicant will have demonstrated prior experience with PLM to ERP engineering interfaces while working with multiple departments across the organization including but not limited to Engineering, Product Management, Business Development, Supply Chain and Manufacturing. Note this is not an ERP coding position, but rather is a requirements development position so that the contracted existing IT team can develop, implement, and execute process improvement projects to increase efficiencies in the new SAP ERP environment Duties and Responsibilities: -Work with existing SMEs in Engineering locations to understand the existing processes. -Design efficient business processes for Engineering interfaces to SAP ERP following guideline of existing Autodesk Fusion PLM to JD Edwards. -Ensure Fusion PLM interface to Contract Manufacturers (Jabil and Celestica) ERP systems are automated and compatible with SAP financial tracking, order processing and POs. -Ensure parts released in PLM are reflected in SAP for business tracking and order fulfillment (PNAF). -Ensure product configuration processes are effectively implemented in SAP so that as custom orders come in, products can be correctly configured and fulfilled to customers without any configuration quality mistakes. -Work with ORM to ensure Sales Orders are correct and consistent with released products in SAP Create a process to ensure POs in SAP are correct and can streamline efficiently through that ERP Diagnose problems with an organizations current methodology, and how to redesign, reconstruct, and monitor processes to ensure they are effective. -Work with Product Management and Business Development to determine if we can reduce the number of configurations. -Research and resolve issues after SAP go-live Interaction with Product Management, Business Development, Sales Customer Service, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Facilitate integration of 1HNPD actions Assist all departments with SAP business process Skills and Experience: -Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education/experience -Minimum 3 years experience in engineering-manufacturing interface and/or project leadership -Familiar with standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures. -Advanced communication skills and the ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as outside contractors and/or vendors. -Ability to respond to request in a professional and timely manner. -Planning, prioritization, organization and reporting skills. -Independent problem-solving skills. -Positive attitude, ability to adapt and contribute to a team environment. | |
