CorTech is seeking to hire a LPN / LVN - Med Surg/Neuro for our client in Saint Louis, MO! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $48.27/hour Start Time 7:00 PM End Time 7:00 AM Position Description : BLS & IV Cert required upon submission and must be included in submit packet NIH required prior to start IV Certification must be reviewed & approved by MO BON prior to start FLU and COVID-19: All travelers must be completely vaccinated PRIOR TO START. There are no exceptions. SHIFT INFO Hours per shift 12 DESCRIPTION Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure. Job Summary: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in a Neurosurgical unit. The unit focuses on the care of patients with stroke, seizures, MS, back/head/spinal and other neurological diagnoses or neurosurgery procedures. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Overview: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) . Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Client Service Standards. | |
