Seeking a well-rounded candidate who has worked in corporate/private and public accounting. A strong candidate will be highly organized, quick to ramp up, and senior in their career. Please do not apply if you are not an active CPA. Location: Remote, with 1 week per month required onsite/in-office Hours: M-F 8-5 (normal business hours) Potential for 20% bonus eligibility This would be a DIRECT-HIRE role, not a contract position Summary of Accountabilities: Responsible for Mackpack, and manual processes as needed. Supervise 2-3 direct reports; operating large ERP systems Daily operations of technical accounting tools; Power BI, MS 360; Advanced MS Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables, sumif, etc. Month-end close, analyzing data, identifying trends to make sure balances make sense Manage large amounts of data to determine if anything is missing or overstated Validating transactions with communication to the different departments and segments within the company Deal with external auditors; fielding questions from internal partners, external auditors, and internal auditor collaborations Reviewing journal entries, filling in as needed creating journal entries All hands on deck director with strong character in leadership and communicate effectively across multiple segments from unit level to exec level | |
