We are now hiring a Production Planner for a packer of canned beverages in the city of Buena Park, CA 90620. JOB DUTIES Purpose : We?re looking for an experienced Production Scheduler to schedule our production processes and maintain stock levels. You will oversee the efficient coordination, planning and scheduling of Production activities, including setting schedules and assigning staff tasks. As a Production Scheduler, you will also prioritize daily workflows and report all bottlenecks to your team. Communication is essential for this role as you will be in constant contact with different departments to keep them updated on production schedules. Ultimately, you are accountable for making sure the company?s resources are used efficiently to meet all production deadlines. Responsibilities : Plans and prepares production schedules for the manufacturer of products. Draws up master schedules to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates to meet customer orders. Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data and perform calculations to determine manufacturing processes and resource requirements. Plans and schedules workflow for operation according to established manufacturing sequences and lead time. Meet with department managers and supervisors to determine the status of assigned projects. Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen predictions. Prepares production reports. Prepare purchase orders to obtain materials. Maintains record keeping systems. Requirements : A bachelor?s degree and food industry experience 3-5 years of manufacturing planning experience One year experience in ERP software production planning modules Excellent communication skills Computer proficiency with an emphasis in MS Office, especially MS Excel Job Type : Full Time Salary : $62,500.00 - $75,000.00 Benefits : 401k Dental Insurance Health Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Vision Insurance Schedule : 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend Availability | |
