Press Operator Sets up and operates flexographic printing press to print designs or lettering on rolls of paper for use in making butter, candy and confectionary and food service wrappers. Attaches feed lines to chambered doctor blade system with prescribed inks, moves levers to engage dye rolls, inserts shaft through core of paper mill roll, secures on press feed position, starts press, adjusting speed, tension and alignment of printing plate. Removes rewound roll/sheets from machine, weighs, labels and marks printed/coated rolls and move to slitter area. High School Diploma or G.E.D Lift and move materials weighing 50lb or more. Basic Computer Skills 12-hour day shifts mandatory, Monday-Thursday Possible Long Term, Hire- On 1st Shift 7 am - 7 pm | |
