Description


Respond to Tier 2 employee queries and assist Scale Support with Tier 0 /1 queries as needed via JIRA Cloud ticketing system and support the Benefits team on all operational needs.
Provide functional support to employees needing assistance with Benefits Employee Self Services (ESS) transactions
Assist with benefits day to day processing in Workday for new hires, terminations, and qualified life events
Partner with the Business Systems team to resolve benefits-related system issues, implement process improvements, and test system changes as needed
Assist with EOIs administration support and integration error reviews by partnering with Block's insurance carriers and our HRIS tool, Workday
Support the planning of annual open enrollment and other benefits changes
Assist with personal leaves, accommodations, outplacement services, worker compensation requests and assist with confirming return to work dates for all leaves as needed
Collaborate with Benefits Program Managers on special projects
Ensure company compliance with yearly audits, plan documents and all federal, state, and local laws
Assist with responding to government notices and ensure reporting requirements are met in a timely manner, including required notice distribution
Responsibilities and tasks may change and shift as we operationalize and streamline

Skills:
2-3+ years of previous Benefits experience
Experience using Workday HCM (Workday Benefits is a plus)
Familiar with JIRA Cloud or similar ticketing tracking system
Advance experience with google docs and microsoft office a plus
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data
Passionate about developing efficient processes and driving results
Attention to detail
Basic knowledge of benefits federal, state, and local laws
