CorTech is looking for a Shop Technician for our client in Mattoon, Illinois. Benefits Available! Get paid weekly! Pay rate $19.00 per hour. Shift:7-3:30 CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Exchanges AMI electric meters Cleaning and retrofitting electric meters Researches field work complaints Coordinate and monitors field work Clean and sort of electric meters, washing of meter covers Wiring of basic electric metering assemblies Material assembly preparation and breakdown of boxes Other duties as assigned JOB-SPECIFIC CAPABILITIES: The General Field Technician is a unionized position that provides services to meters in the field, in addition to other shop-based functions on meters. EDUCATION : High School diploma EXPERIENCE: Experience with using hand tools Ability to communicate with the public. One year or more of utility or electric experience preferred. Ability to travel 75% - 100% Steel-Toed Boots required | |
