CorTech is seeking to hire a Material Handler for our client in Groveport, OH! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $22.50/Hour Shift: 2nd Reach Truck Drivers Must have basic computer skill OT required - typically last 2 weeks of the month. 2pm-midnight and some Saturdays 12-8pm This position requires a minimum of 6 months experience operating material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Pallet Jack, Cherry/Order Picker) in a distribution center environment. Orientation on the first day is 9a., Regular Shift Time for 1st shift is 6a-2p. Workers should be good with working 10 hour days M-S as required due to site work volume. They should also be aware that in heavy volume situations - the site can allow them to do an additional 2 hours per day voluntary. Steel Toe Shoes/Boots required Day One. Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the storage facility. Requires a high school diploma/GED wih a minimum of 6 months experience in a distribution center environment. Has knowledge of commonly-used practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Special Considerations: Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant. Exposure to substantial machine or other physical risks are anticipated. | |
