CorTech is seeking to hire eleven Video Engineers to work remotely for our client!
Benefits Available!
$50.00 per hour
Six month assignment with the possibility to extend.


We are looking for Video Systems Support Engineer III, who has experience working with Spectrum Guide and has experience working with other video-related services like VOD, EAS, and SDV. Must be well-versed in troubleshooting issues and providing nightly support for production deployments


Top 3 Must Haves

- Must have an understanding of DOCSIS, SDV, and VOD, including MOP (Method of Procedure) creation skills.
- Must have DAC configuration and operation skills.
- Responsible for migration, initial configuration of CCAP, Apex3K, and NSGPro EdgeQAM devices for Advanced Services.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for engineering activities that maintain and enhance the company's telecommunications and signal processing hardware, software, and electrical systems.
- Must fully understand and demonstrate experience with Spectrum Guide Set-Top Box back office configuration and troubleshooting.
- Works with customer technical operations staff on system design, configuration, and Method of Procedure (MOP) creation.
- Demonstrated experience with adherence to MOP deployment guidelines.
- Works with internal design teams and advises team leaders; escalates known issues in a timely manner.
- Designs, implements, monitors, enhances, and troubleshoots systems in assigned areas.
- Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
- Tests and reviews system designs.
- Provides Engineering Technical support and guidance to regional personnel and ensures all technical integration, changes, standards, and documentation are met.
- Responsible for migration, initial configuration of CCAP, Apex3K, and NSGPro EdgeQAM devices for Advanced Services.
- Must have an understanding of DOCSIS, SDV, and VOD.
- Mentors and guides the work of technical staff.
- Reviews work plans and designs and advises on improvements.
- Adheres to industry-specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
- Knows, understands, and follows company policies.
- Performs other duties as requested by the manager.
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience
