CorTech is seeking to hire a Commissioning Technician 1 for our client in Houston, TX! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $23.00/Hour Shift: 1 Shift Start and End Time 7:30A.M. - 4:30P.M. Description: Position Overview: Reporting to the Service Operations Supervisor, this position provides assistance in performing assigned tasks for fire life safety system services. Job Duties: ? Assists in performing service agreement tasks to include visual and functional testing on fire detection systems and field devices in accordance with all national (NFPA) and local (AHJ) standards. ? Maintains complete and accurate documentation of tests performed using Excel. ? Assists in responding to service calls (emergency and on-site). ? Provides needed assistance with troubleshooting techniques and performs minor repairs as directed. ? Assists in performing minor repairs as directed. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education: ? Must have strong Excel experience for generating reports, knowledge of Microsoft Word. ? High School Diploma or equivalent ? Strong customer service, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills ? Ability to climb ladders. ? Ability to carry up to 25 lbs. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education: ? Fire Alarm License ? Associates degree in Electronics or other technical field ? Basic knowledge of AD/DC circuitry, associated low voltage systems ? Experience in field service. | |
