CorTech is seeking to hire a Brand Designer for our client in El Segundo, CA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $36.00/Hour Hybrid role, local candidates only. PURPOSE OF POSITION: In-house agency seeking Brand Designer on the Client Creations Brand Creative Team covering Client direct to consumer collector platform. Must have stellar branding and design chops, digital experience, and exceptional Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign abilities. Highly conceptual, overflowing with ideas, and capable of designing across multiple mediums including print, digital, TV, web, social, apps activations and more. It?s about toys as art and art inspired by toys. THE ROLE: ? Effectively translate the Client, Games and Action Figures brands into successful, strategic, engaging advertising and design ? Concept big ideas that are on-brand and can translate across all mediums including advertising, print, web, video, licensing, tool kit/guide creation, events, retail and social ? Design work that is on-brand, compelling and synergistic with the current campaign ? Prepare and present creative vision, concepts and WIP design to multiple stakeholders ? Collaborate with team in a positive and productive manner including partnering with copywriters, producers, project manager, marketing partners and fellow designers ? Build relationships with global contacts and assist/advise them as needed ? Oversee and maintain ownership of work from concept through to production ? Work on multiple projects at once with ease THE PERSONALITY ? You laugh a lot ? You?re self-motivated and nimble ? You?re tenacious and full of strategic, progressive ideas and design ? You?re filled with a sense of genuine fascination for concept and design ? You?re a strong designer capable of translating the brand into any medium ? You?re a strong presenter who can engage a room ? You always want to improve the work ? You?re proactive and seek out rather than waiting for things to come to you ? You?re multi-dimensional and always learning ? You?re "in the know" about current trends, pop culture and behaviors ? You can prioritize workload and meet deadlines ? You?re positive, solution-oriented and flexible ? You inspire others with your overall love for creative THE COMPULSORIES ? Bachelor?s Degree in Communication, Design or similar field ? A portfolio demonstrating solid experience in graphic design and art direction ? At least 3-5 years? experience within a corporate or agency environment as an art director or designer ? Computer proficiency; extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign ? Excellent organizational and communication skills ? Excellent decision-making abilities ? Experience presenting work internally and to clients ? Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team cooperation ? Writing skills, a bonus ? Illustration skills a double bonus | |
