CorTech is seeking to hire FIVE Selectors for our client in Bartlett, IL! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $17.00/Hour Shift Details 3rd / Night TEMP TO HIRE: pending attendance, performance, etc SHIFT: Sunday-Friday. Sunday starts at 8pm. Monday-Friday starts 9pm. Shift ends once the job is complete (currently looking at 10-12 hours due to being short staffed). Workers are able to take 1 day off during the week- this is to be discussed with the manager on site after day one). Bilingual in Spanish and English accepted. MUST be able to understand English. Most managers are bilingual. MUST HAVE WORKED IN A COLD ENVIRONMENT/OK with a cold environment. (these workers will be moving between a dry warehouse, fridge, and freezer area during their shift, picking product to ship). MUST HAVE experience working night shift (must have at least 6+ months working an overnight shift as proof of dedication/a good attendance record) MUST be able to operate a double pallet jack MUST be able to lift up to 60-70lbs individually Responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, selecting the correct products from warehouse racking, labeling product using SOS label technology, palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders, and delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner. Hand selects orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer, operates assigned SOS unit to create labels, correctly places labels on product, stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (e.g., no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.), stages pallets for loading on proper dock locations, stretch-wraps product on loading dock, maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, SOS unit, and personal protective equipment, and performs pre and post-trip inspections of equipment. Must follow Client Safe preferred work methods at all times and follow sanitation requirements in order to comply with policy set forth by Client and by AIB (American Institute of Baking). This position requires working until all products are accurately selected and loaded including potential overtime on holidays and weekends. Essential skills include the ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through an engineered production standard, working rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast paced environment, meeting or exceeding established cases per error goals, and developing a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures. Basic requirements include being over the age of 18, the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as it relates to the job and safety requirements, basic arithmetic skills, and adequate physical fitness to lift up to 100 lbs regularly.
