Warehouse Clerk/Forklift Operator will be under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Lead will ensure a quality product is being delivered to customers and received from Suppliers. Primary functions will include processing all paperwork necessary for shipping and receiving goods, responsible for the safe loading/unloading of materials along with correct paperwork being processed. Verify and keeps records on incoming/outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment, remove shipped material from delivery vehicles, move to designated storage area, inspects outgoing trucks and documents inspection. Loads outbound trucks to assure stable loads, examine receiving documents for storage destination, prepare materials for orders and moves to shipping area, is a fast-paced physical position that moves products via a forklift and other equipment and performs various warehouse duties that support the collecting, loading, picking, shipping, receiving, and inventory of Merchandise at our warehouse. Key Responsibilities: The daily duties of this role include one or more of the following: ?Load and unload merchandise to and from trailers; communicate with drivers and security personnel, Check that merchandise received and distributed matches against purchase order and/or invoice; resolve discrepancies. Receive/unload merchandise, to include manually opening sealed boxes of product and unloading up to 1500 parcels per day Package and prepare merchandise for shipment, to include palletizing of products throughout the shift. Perform outbound picking and storage. ?Pick and stage product (on all levels of a multi-level pick module) in a timely manner as determined by the supervisor. Locate/move products utilizing a forklift, pallet jack and/or cherry picker Provide ongoing assistance with product inventory, performing accurate cycle counts and researching discrepancies. Manually process rework orders, assist with scrap operation, manually extract discs and/or artwork from finished goods. Cross train on/operate returns sorter and packaging machines. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment. Operates a forklift for moving or stacking material, inspects assigned forklift and recharge batteries.
