CorTech is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We are currently hiring for a Benefit Specialist in the United States . Remote opportunity $25/hour Temporary position Minimum Requirements: ? High School diploma or equivalent ? Associates degree in business management or related field preferred. Certified Benefits Professional helpful ? One to three (1 ? 3) years? experience in benefits administration ? Experience in administration of all types of health and welfare benefit plans, HIPPA regulation, ACA requirements, COBRA administration, FMLA and other employee leave programs ? Experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook ? Experience with benefit administration, insurance carrier, and 401k record keeping systems ? Experience with HR and Payroll systems ? Available to work remote and outside normal business hours at times Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to: ? Handle employee inquiries relating to benefits and act as a resource for management in relations to the benefit program ? Work with HR partners and HRIS administrator to ensure the accuracy of all employee information and benefit enrollments in the I.S. ? Maintains a strong working relationship with internal partners such as payroll and I.S. ? Acts as a liaison between company and outside brokers, advisors and service partners. ? Identify system issues, trouble shoot scenarios and manage root cause analysis ? Coordinates and supports the enrollment and distribution of benefits information to employees ? Assists with audits and reconciliation of all benefit plans including, but not limited to, health and retirement plans ? Stays abreast on current legislation and trends as it relates to benefits ? Coordinates and ensures ACA compliance via Safe Harbor reporting ? Assist employees, managers and HR partners with benefit related questions ? Coordinates the setup, tracking and administration of HSA and FSA plans ? Assists leave team with coordination of leave with STD/LTD ? Assists UNUM in validating information as part of the STD/LTD claim initiation process ? Processes QMCSO and all other state-related forms received to validate benefit coverage information ?
