CorTech is seeking up to 12 Labelers for our client in Plant City, FL! This is a 1st shift/day job with a start time of 7 am and a typical end time of 3:30 pm. The pay rate is $13.00 per hour and benefits are available. Occasionally, earlier start times and overtime may be required. To qualify for the job, the candidate must be able to lift 50-80lbs (team lifting is allowed) and must be comfortable working in rooms with a temperature close to freezing (freeze suits will be provided but the candidate can bring their own apparel). Bilingual candidates are preferred but English and Spanish-only speakers will also be considered. The job responsibilities include ensuring that the production and expiration dates on labels match the manufacturer's dates, verifying other label information as time allows, repacking inners into cases and resealing them, applying appropriate labels to outer packaging, re-palletizing the cases, and cleaning the work area. The candidate will also be responsible for un-palletizing products (no equipment used), moving cases to workstations (team lifting up to 50/80lbs is allowed), and applying shipping labels to meet country or customer requirements. Information can be applied by printed adhesive labels, ink jet machine, or hand stamping. The candidate will also need to open cases with company-approved and issued blades, remove inner packaging, and apply labels to each inner pack in the correct location on the product. | |
