Job Description

Manufacturing Electronic Technician to perform a variety of complex tests on electronic equipment, sophisticated test fixtures and computers to determine functioning level.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Builds complex systems from instructions and directions; makes modifications and recommendations for improvement to systems.
Diagnoses malfunctioning manufacturing equipment and test fixtures.
Works closely with the Manufacturing Engineering group on various projects.
Ability to develop new Cleanroom floor layout to ensure optimized assembly process.
Ability to assist Manufacturing Engineering in development of electronic Kanban System.
Assists Manufacturing Engineering to perform data maintenance for WIP tool on regular basis.
Assists supervisor to trouble shoot non-conforming circuit boards and/or sensitive intra-oral sensor electronic and mechanical components.
All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledgeable in the diagnosis, repair, and precise calibration of the electronic and electromechanical equipment.
Knowledgeable in the use of diagnostic and test equipment. Ability to perform specific computer programming for specific applications Proficient in the use of data entry software.
Able to solder hi-tech sensor components.
Familiar with Microsoft Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel. Able to read and understand technical information, i.e. service manuals, schematics, adjustment procedures, etc. Ability to perform basic arithmetic.

Required Education

High school diploma or GED preferred. Associates or Bachelor's Degree and/or certification in electronics or electro-mechanical technology preferred..

Required Experience

Three to five years of experience in electronic troubleshooting and repair in a technical manufacturing environment preferred
