CorTech is seeking to hire a remote Accounting Manager for our client!

Pay Rate - $83-93/hr

Job Description

Responsible for managing the revenue accounting function for certain business/product lines.
Ensures accounting month-end close deliverables are completed accurately and timely.
Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
Assess and implement proper revenue recognition process for new products and business initiatives.
Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. CPA highly preferred and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area with 4+ years of supervisory experience.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.

Assess and communicate implications to accounting treatment and operationalization of new products, contracts and business initiatives.
Prepare detailed business and report requirements to support projects and process improvements.
Plan and test new product implementations and system changes impacting revenues.
Support month-end close process as directed
Perform special projects as needed.

MUST HAVE:
7+ years exp in Accounting (month-end close, externally reporting financials etc
4+ years supervisory exp in accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of internal controls for financial supporting SOX compliance process
Revenue Accounting experience (to understand ASC606/USGAAP
Enterprise project implementation experience (participated in new and/or existing product implementations)
Strong process improvement exp
Highly organized & properly plan , focus & prioritize (not just their own work but their team's)
Excellent communication skills, ability to address complex concepts and issues, present analysis & financial results & effectively collaborate.

Project management skills or knowledge of project management
New product launches
Experience with Workday Financial and/or Zuora Billing is a plus.
