CorTech is seeking Machine Operators and Assemblers for a Manufacturer in Thorp, WI. 2nd shift 3:25 PM - 1:55 AM, Monday-Thursday $20.50/hr Job Details: Set up, adjust, and operate an individual machine, work cell, or a position within a work center. Read process documentation to determine physical specifications and processing steps. Set up and adjust equipment; understand drawings, change heads, inserts, and other replacement tooling. Gather materials as needed for the assembly of doors. Perform quality checks. Operates motorized equipment, (i.e. forklift, KVAL lifts, etc.) as needed. Perform minor preventative maintenance and operator care as required, i.e. oiling, and minor tooling replacement. Assists Management, Maintenance, and Quality Personnel when troubleshooting equipment, process, or material issues. Communicate effectively for the flow of doors Maintain downtime records and production information as appropriate. Perform housekeeping duties. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Wear appropriate personal protection equipment. Work safely and follow safety rules and procedures. Work with over 60 lbs occasionally (up to 25% in an 8 hour day) Push/Pull 100 lbs w/ assistance seldom (up to 13% in an 8 hr day) Kneel/Squat occasionally (up to 25% in an 8 hour day) Stoop frequently (up to 67% in an 8 hour day) Twist occasionally (up to 25% in an 8 hour day) Stand in one spot for long periods Requirements: Must be able to read and write English Must be able to read a tape measure Must have experience operating machines, and have knowledge of the materials and products. This position requires a high level of responsibility, and concentration to set up and run the machine properly, with a basic level of supervision.
