CorTech is seeking to hire a Microbiologist for our client in Santa Clara, CA!

This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. The Microbiologist works on complex projects and is responsible for providing high quality technical support in consultation to the organization on microbiological needs. Facilitate documentation changes and maintenance of documentation and documentation support for the department. Oversees the updating and review of documentation to support policy/procedures, methodology, formulation changes, specification, etc. Master's degree preferred. Bachelor's Degree in microbiology or biological sciences and several years experience. In the absence of the desired degree progressive, productive experience in the company and demonstrated competence may be substituted.

WHAT YOU?LL DO
We are seeking a microbiologist that will be responsible for performing environmental and utility monitoring to ensure the manufacturing cleanroom is in a state of microbiological control.
Perform environmental monitoring consisting of viable airborne, non-particulate particulate and surface testing.
Perform water monitoring consisting of bioburden and endotoxin testing.
Perform compressed gas monitoring consisting of viable airborne, non-viable particulate, moisture and hydrocarbon testing.
Maintain the microbiology laboratory and order lab supplies.
Conduct microbiological investigations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU?LL BRING
Required
Bachelor?s degree in the with 0 - 4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred (our ?Nice to Have?, but we will still encourage you to apply if you don?t have those)
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.
