CorTech is seeking to hire a Medical Assistant for our client in Saint Louis, MO! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $24.13/Hour Hours: 8-4:30 M-F FLU and COVID-19: All travelers must be completely vaccinated PRIOR TO START. There are no exceptions. SHIFT INFO Shift day Shifts per week 5 Hours per shift 8 EXPERIENCE Years of Experience Two Years Plus CERTIFICATIONS Certifications RMA - preferred NREMT - Basic - preferred DESCRIPTION TELEPHONE TRIAGE/Medical Assistant Qualifications: HS Diploma required. Must be able to type. Must have prior medical office, unit secretary or experience of a similar nature. Must possess excellent communications skills, be well versed in medical terminology and ready to apply proper business and clinical acumen as required. Must have experience with Electronic Medical Record Software, Epic preferred but not required. Certifications: It is helpful if the applicant is a registered, or was registered as an MA or EMT. This will help in this triage position. Job Summary: This position is a telephone triage role in an Internal Medicine Clinic. Position will be responsible for taking inbound patient calls throughout the day. Strictly a desk position. No direct patient care. Heavy inbound call volume. The candidate should be well versed in the use of and understanding of medical terminology and medical office procedure. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Word most helpful. Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems and software are key to this position. This is a highly detailed oriented position and will work on a small team of other Medical Assistants triaging calls. | |
