Summary:

Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Oversees Therapeutic Stabilization Center and Secure Residential Program.

Maintains a system to recruit, orient, train, and evaluate staff in the communities served.

Designs and assures implementation of Best Practices and Clinical Quality. Establishes and maintains a Crisis Management and Risk Management System. Creates metrics to evaluate the success of initiatives related to the program. Ensures that all compliance procedures and policies are met and seeks ways to exceed agency minimums for ODJFS, ODMH/ADMH standards.

Creates and implements new policies and procedures as necessary to assist in improvements. Seeks out new ways to improve customer service. Creates metrics to measure success of customer service.

Assures programs are striving to meet the Goals & Objectives from TVN?s Strategic Plan.

Assures that programs are implementing TVN?s clinical models (TIC, NMT & CPS) with fidelity.

Assures the use of high risk interventions (restraints) are kept to a minimum through the Implementation The Six Core Strategies to Creating Violence Free and Coercion Free Treatment Environments.

Represents interests to agencies at a local, regional, state, and national level through involvement with committees and task forces.

Effectively participates in the design of and then is ultimately accountable for the implementation of agency and regional annual budgets and strategic plan.

Responsible for Program and Business Development within the region.

Responsible for recognizing, creating, and implementing plans to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts for both clients and employees throughout the region.

Performs other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor?s Degree in related field required. Masters? Degree in Social Work or related field desired.

7-10 years post masters? experience in senior level program management.

Independent license in social work or counseling, or RN with psychiatric experience desired.

Ability to use a computer; expertise in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.

Valid Ohio Driver?s License and maintains a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing vehicle insurance. In addition, frequent travel within the state of Ohio and occasional travel to other states is necessary.

Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional customer relation skills, superior financial skills, ability to motivate and manage others, willingness to view decisions in relation to long term implications, and the ability to solve problems through creative solutions. Possesses excellent knowledgeable of best practices in the field of mental health treatment, trauma informed care and child welfare.

Physical Demands:
Ability to comply with requirements for using restraints, including sufficient strength and completion of extensive training.

Ability to handle bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, reaching, and walking for periods of time.

Must be able to lift 20 pounds independently.

Must be able to remain alert to problems, needs or emergencies that might arise on any shift, maintaining a safe environment for the clients.

Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all levels or personnel, internal and external to the company.
