CorTech is seeking to hire a Installation Specialist for our client in Cedar Rapids, IA! We are currently seeking an Installation Associate, with both entry level and advanced levels of experience! An Installation Associate specializes in both new build and residential appliance installations. This includes but is not limited to dishwashers, ranges, ovens, cooktops, vent hoods, microwaves, refrigerators, and laundry for standard residential/new build installations. Advanced skilled installers specialize in all appliances install including but is not limited to 36?-60? pro ranges, built-in refrigeration, wall ovens, raised vent systems, and panel ready appliances. Our associates are detail oriented and view customer service with equal importance as technical proficiency. You will ensure the quality and completion of installations are achieved. If you are familiar with home appliance products or installation, this is an excellent opportunity to grow with an industry leading organization. Responsibilities: ? Accurate handling and installation of gas and electric household appliances ? Properly follow all proper installation procedures and techniques and test to ensure proper functionality ? Install appliances per the manufacturer specifications using hand and power tools and other equipment ? Perform quality checks on work performed by you and coworkers ? Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management ? Utilize 3rd party software applications entering data to document work performed daily Qualifications: ? 0-1 years of experience for entry level installers (we are willing to train the right candidate to grow their career with Ferguson) ? 1+ years of experience with Appliance Delivery and Installation Service is required for advanced skilled candidates ? Prior experience with construction, kitchen, plumbing, or home appliance products or installations recommended ? Ability to deliver ?white glove service? to customers, excellent customer service skills are a must! ? Excellent customer service skills, required ? Excellent communication skills required, with the ability to express ideas clearly and completely when speaking to customers ? Document important job notes in a way a non-trades person would understand ? Applicants must have mechanical skills and willingness to learn ? basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills are required ? Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals ? Ability to read and understand product specs required ? Outstanding attention to detail required ? Organization, time management, and creative problem-solving skills are a must. ?
