Cortech is hiring for a globally known medical manufacturing facility in the Hunt Valley area. MUST have your own car. NOT located near public transit. Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM Pay: $18/hr Benefits: 401 K, Health, Dental and Vision Requirements: HS Diploma 1-2 years manufacturing machine operator experience ( THIS IS A MUST. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE) Job Duties: As a Machine Operator in this role, you will perform any of the following: Performs routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling and inspecting under general supervision. Maintains accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO9000 (International Organization for Standardization). We have two different teams that create different medical items for different needs. One of our teams will be creating technically advanced machinery. This process with include sautering and placing tubes into machines. The machines they make include Diagnostic machinery for women's health and diagnostic machinery for cancer. In order to work with this team you have to be able to read blue prints, handle small pieces, read manuals and complete testing on machinery. The second team creates panels that doctors/hospitals use to test whether you are sick and informs the doctor what kind of antibiotic and dosage! These panels have a bunch of tube like wells that contain liquid that the doctor will put the testing liquid in. You will be working with very small details so attention to detail is a must.
