Job Summary:

Cortech International is seeking to hire a Payroll Administrator for our client in Atlanta, GA. Join our payroll team as a Payroll Administrator for our logistics client! In this role, you will provide support in payroll administration, analyze payroll data, and ensure the timely completion of payroll-related tasks. You will collaborate with the Payroll team, utilize People Soft for processing weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, and handle various payroll functions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Payroll team to process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls using People Soft.
2. Review and analyze payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
3. Prepare and process off-cycle checks/wires as needed.
4. Handle garnishments and ensure timely setup by auditing vendors.
5. Respond to internal customer email requests within SLA guidelines.
6. Independently research and investigate payroll issues, applying analytical skills and knowledge of best practices and regulations.
7. Stay updated on current and pending regulations affecting payroll and advise on necessary changes.
8. Support upcoming system implementation, process improvements, and act as a key member for system upgrades, configuration changes, conversions, and integration.
9. Conduct regular internal audits to maintain data integrity.
10. Perform payroll balancing and auditing tasks.
11. Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee pay information.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of payroll processing experience, preferably with People Soft or Oracle Cloud.
2. Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the company.
4. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
5. Independent worker who can operate with discretion and meet tight deadlines.
6. Effective workload management and prioritization skills.
7. Team player with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively.
8. Results-oriented, accountable, and highly organized.
