Cor-tech International is seeking to hire a Payroll Tax Analyst for our client in Atlanta, GA. As a Payroll
Tax Analyst, responsible for federal, state, and local payroll taxes for both employee and employer.
You will be the subject matter expert for payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws
and regulations. Collaborating with payroll, tax vendors, and internal accounting partners, you will
reconcile payroll accounts, address tax discrepancies, and support payroll-related inquiries and
adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the subject matter expert for US and Canada payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with all
laws and regulations.
2. Act as the point of contact for tax vendors to research and resolve tax discrepancies.
3. Reconcile payroll accounts and support payroll with employment tax research, employee tax
inquiries, and required adjustments.
4. Collaborate with third-party vendors to reconcile tax filings and address tax tracers with US and
Canada tax agencies.
5. Perform tax funding, reconciliation, analysis of tax notices, tax form processing, corrections, return
filings, and amendments.
6. Support year-end tasks related to the production of W2s and T4s.
7. Set up new tax accounts to support new acquisition locations.
8. Provide backup support to the Canada Payroll Analyst for payroll processing.
9. Assist with the administration of payments such as incentives and bonuses.
10. Reconcile payroll tax reporting and ensure accurate filings, including required reporting such as
941s.
11. Act as a subject matter expert and resource for payroll taxes.

Experience Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll, preferably as a Payroll Tax Analyst.
- Experience in both union and non-union environments.
Required Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
- Proficiency in People Soft Payroll and Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced Excel skills (V-look ups, Pivot
tables).
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Efficient organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
