CorTech is seeking to hire a Research Scientist II for our client in Neenah, WI! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $30.00/Hour Position is ONSITE, core hours are 9am-5pm (can be flexible if needed). Work hours vary from 30-40 hours per week (based upon workload). Will consider candidates who only want to work 30 hours per week max. Summary: The Global Research & Engineering ? Life Sciences team is seeking for a Research Scientist-Formulator to work closely with fellow scientists and other subject matter experts around the world to develop new formulations for our consumer products. The successful candidate will have a drive for results and attention to detail, with the ability to conduct formulation optimization and stability assessment with minimal supervision, document results and communicate effectively. Collaboration in a team environment is essential. The candidate will take work direction from the project leader. Responsibilities: ? Support multiple elements of formulation development as a key member of a global team dedicated to protecting health and driving hygiene in consumer products. ? Follow written experimental and equipment operation procedures with high attention to detail and ability to perform tasks independently. ? Employ effective written and oral communication to document findings and report promptly to appropriate team members. ? Always maintain safety and contribute to the safe and efficient functioning of the laboratory. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory. ? Collaborate effectively in the lab and in cross functional teams. Required Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s or advanced degree in Chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering along with 1+ years of experience in formulation roles. Some related degree fields also can be considered. ? Technical knowledge and experience in formulation science including formulation design and optimization. ? Fluent in efficiently executing laboratory protocols with a high attention to detail ? Evidence of quickly learning new methods, assisting with protocol standardization, and performing robust data analysis to deliver results. ? Able to maintain a safe work environment. ? Excellent communication skills with ability to influence projects and partner direction thru oral and written means. ? Working knowledge of appropriate computer software such as Windows suite, especially Excel for data recording and graphing. ? Proven record of successful results working in multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications: ? Knowledge of microbiology, including relevant control mechanisms and chemistries is helpful. ? Working knowledge and familiarity with regulated products, including an understanding of regulatory pathways in US and other countries for formulated products ? Language skills beyond English are highly valued. | |
